Moments in the East Village

The East Village is one of the places I go to when I need some inspiration, clarity, and less "chaos". I love the houses, parks, and little streets in the area, there's something calming about all of it.

Since I love the East Village, I of course had to shoot one of my favorite looks there.

I wanted to do a simple but "can't-go-wrong" color combo: navy blue and cream.

I actually got inspired by Pinterest for this look. I saw this girl wear a turtleneck and then put a cardigan over it and I was like "wait, that's so cute, I'm pinning that!"

The cardigan is very special to me because true story, I went to 3 different H&M's just to find my size. I already had the pants, turtleneck, and shoes - I was determined to find a cream vest to tie everything together haha.

I was right to do so though, because I think the outfit turned out quite nice! Also, I love that the photographer and I shot this on film, I find that it gives it more of an artistic look.
