Hi everyone, happy new year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays and are ready to tackle 2022. I was in Senegal for christmas break and am now back in super cold NYC! To be honest, my vacation was not as restful as I wanted to be (too much fun/going out haha) so I'm going to dedicate my January to rest and recovery.
Before I left New York, I wanted to make sure to create some content/shoot some looks on film in Manhattan - this is one of them:
Oddly enough, I worked backwards when creating this outfit. I've been wanting to wear my dunk low's from Nike for the longest so I started with the shoes first, and then worked my way up. I also wanted most of my look to be green, so I paired the sneakers with a sweater and an olive Telfar bag.
To tie it all together and stay within an earthy theme, I finalized the look with this brown shearling jacket from Zara. It wasn't super cold at the time, so this was the perfect piece. On top of that, it's quite stylish and has that oversized fit! :)
The funny thing about this is that I rarely wear any of the clothing items in the pictures. The jeans, jacket, shoes, sweater, and bag were sitting in my closet for so long, so I was like "ok, I have to figure out what to do with them" haha. I'm glad I figured out how to pair them all together because this is a cute look and it's easy to move around in, which is perfect for when you're running errands in NYC and still want to look stylish.
Speaking of NYC, I can't believe it's been a little over 2 months since I moved back. Time goes by fast, wow!
