Hello NYC!

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well and getting ready for the holiday season!

It's been a while, hasn't it? I've been super busy with life because, well, surprise, I moved back to NYC! DC was amazing and I miss it so much already, but I felt it was time to come back to the big apple.

The main reason for my return is a life event, but I was also strongly thinking about coming back because I think this city aligns well with who I am and my personality type. NYC is inspiring, dynamic, and full of creativity.

To be honest with you, the past 6 weeks have been extremely fast-paced and exhausting. I definitely underestimated how much work moving would be, but I finally feel settled in. I also wanted to rest and get myself together before diving back into the blogging stuff, and I'm so happy I did that, because now I feel more grounded and excited to create!

NYC is a tad colder than DC, so I decided to wear a sweater vest for my look. I paired the vest with a white shirt, straight blue jeans, and my favorite patent boots from Zara. To keep the black and white theme going, I finalized the look with a small bag from Chanel.

I hadn't realized how much I missed shooting in New York. There's something about the energy here that just rubs off on you and pushes you to excel, I love it. We took pictures in the West Village on a Sunday afternoon - it was nice because it was quiet and not too busy. I liked that this area was lowkey, it's a good break from the city's hustle and bustle.

I'm happy to be back and excited to re-discover New York. It's definitely a slight adjustment because I've been gone for awhile, but like they say, good things take time! :)
